OUR BOARD OF TRUSTEES
We value feedback from parents and whanau both positive and negative as we want our children to have the best possible learning experience. If the situation arises where you are unhappy with any aspect of your child’s education, we want to hear about it. The process for complaints is outlined below.
1. Initially discuss the situation with the child’s teacher.
2. If you feel the situation is unresolved, discuss the matter with the Principal
3. Lastly, please write to the Board of Trustees outlining the problem. They will then consult with you, the Principal and the staff concerned.
4. Please refer to the school’s complaints policy to address any matter of serious concern.
The school has policies on a variety of topics, and new policies are written when required.
As part of Ministry of Education guidelines the Board of Trustees regularly reviews and amends policies to ensure we are up to date with the latest information. Any questions, please see the Principal or a Board of Trustees member.
These are organised by the Board to carry out cleaning and maintenance tasks during the year, or for development of our school. You will be advised of these through the school newsletter or website.
